Wild Sumaco Lodge

Our Birding Lodge in the Upper Amazon is Wild Sumaco Lodge. The lodge is located between Sumaco National Park and Narupa Valley, a transition tropical zone towards the Lower Amazon Basin. We have a Private birding reserve with several pristine trails. The Lodge features:

    In our Lodge the frequent species that we can observe include Plumbeous Pigeon, Plain-backed Antpitta, Blue-rumped Manakin, White-throated Tapaculo, Yellow-browed Sparrow, Silver-beaked Tanager, Spotted Tanager, Chestnut-bellied Seedeater, Yellow-throated Toucan, Western Fire-Eye, Black-faced Antbird, Canada Warbler, Black-throated Mango, Wire-crested Thorntail, Ecuadorian Piedtail, Fork-tailed Woodnymph, Many-spotted Hummingbird, Many-banded Aracari, Bay-headed Tanager, Black-streaked Puffbird, Maroon-tailed Parakeet, Black-throated Brilliant, Goulds Jewelfront, Scaled Pigeon, Military Macaw, Violacous Jay, Scarlet Tanager, Foothill-screetch Owl and others.
