Another of our Birding Lodges in the East Slope Cloud Forest is Rio Quijos Lodge located near Baeza and Cosanga Valley. The lodge features:

In Rio Quijos Lodge some of the frequent bird species that you can observe include Peruvian Raquet-tail, Speckled Hummingbird, Long-tailed Sylph, Violet-fronted Brilliant, Gorgeted Woodstar, Russet-backed Oropendola, Green Jay, Summer Tanager, Torrent Duck, Green-backed Hillstar, Andean Cock of the Rock, Scarlet-rumped Cacique, Plumbeos Pigeon, Andean Motmot, Fasciated Tiger Heron, Crested Quetzal, Roadside Hawk, Saffron-crowned Tanager, Orange-eared Tanager and others.
