Another fantastic Birding & Wildlife Tailor-made Tour for our Photography friends from Dartmoor, United Kingdom. We had the priviledge to have Peter Burkill, a Biologist and Wildlife Photoghaper in our Tours. He has over 50 years of experience and after he retired, he spend more time photographing, exploring and demostrating the beauty of the living natural world. During his birding Tour we overnight in several locations in the Andes, East and West Slope Cloud Forest, Upper Amazon Basin, Lower Amazon Basin, Yasuni National Park, Cotopaxi Reserve, Ingapirca Cultural Temple of the Sun, Cuenca Textile Markets, El Cajas National Park, Guayaquil City and 8 Days Island Hopping in Galapagos. In total we observed over 400 bird species and took over 40,000 photos. Some of the specialities in Mainland Ecuador included Boat-billed Heron, Black-Caiman, Sungrebe, Saki Monkey, Giant Otter, Hoatzins, Crimson-rumped Toucanet, Choco Toucan, Pale-mandibled Aracari, Andean Cock of the Rock, Charapa Turtle and others.
