The planning of this Tailor-made Birding, Wildlife and Nature Tour started late 2019, right before the Pandemic. Due to several postponing we finally were able to re-arrange this trip for November 2022. The trip included several birding lodges including: 

  • Andes: Hacienda Jimenita, San Agustin de Callo, Hacienda Abraspungo, Mansion Alcazar
  • Amazon: Napo Wildlife Center
  • Upper Amazon Basin: Wild Sumaco Lodge
  • Cloud Forests: San Isidro Lodge and Sachatamia Lodge
  • Galapagos: Luxury Cruise Grand Magestic   
  • Guayaquil: Hilton Colon

In total we observed over 425 bird species and took over 40,000 photos. Some of the specialities in Ecuador Mainland were Capuchin Monkey, Anaconda, Giant Otters, Amazonian Umbrellabird, Wire-tailed Manakin, White-capped Heron, Black-banded Owl, Inca Jays, Masked Trogon, Golden-headed Quetzal, Andean Condor, Greater Yellow-headed Vulture, Andean Lapwing, Curved-billed Tinamou, Choco Toucan, Grey-breasted Mountain Toucan, Andean Cock of the Rock, Plate-billed Mountain Toucan, Scarlet Macaws, Blue and Yellow Macaw, Wattled Jacanas, and over 32 species of Hummingbirds.

While in the Galapagos Islands, our guests were onboard Grand Magestic Luxury Cruise for 8 Days 7 Nights. As they quoted...We had a fabulous time, it was a like a dream, never to be forgotten! They saw several species of Near-shore Birds, Galapagos Hawk, Blue-footed Boobies, Nazca Boobies, Red-footed Boobies, Frigate Birds Colonies, Sea Lions, Fur Lions, Dolphins, Land and Marine Iguanas, Waved-Albatrosses, 3 Orcard while snorkeling, Sharks, Galapagos Penguin, Flightless Cormorant, Giant Tortoises, Galapagos Flamingos and much more. 

The Galapagos Island we visited included Santa Cruz Island, Genovesa Island, San Cristobal Island, Floreana Island, Espanola Island, Rabida, and Chinese Hat Islet.
